Donegal Bay Publishing Authors Guild - Updated May 2008
We have updated the DBP Authors Guild. We are temporarily converting to mostly electronic publishing for general interest titles. This is a way for new authors to get their works in the public eye. We will proof and edit selected book length documents and place them for sale electronically on our websites, as well as on amazon.com. Books not chosen to be for-sale documents will be placed on our websites as free electronic documents. These will be published electroically as-is, without proofing and editing, as we do not have the resources to proof and edit every single submission we get. This currently is a very small market, but we expect electronic books to continue to gain in popularity, just as other electronic media have replaced standard media. Electronic books that receive favorable reviews online may be considered as candidates for standard publishing.

Guild members receive a free author webpage through our website, and link to/from members' manuscripts
You get your book published electronically at no cost to you
If selected as a for-sale e-doc, your book will be proofed, edited, and published electronically at no cost to you
Your document will be placed online for guild members to review if they want
There are no monetary costs to Guild members
