Donegal Bay Publishing welcomes manuscript submissions from anyone. We believe in treating you, the writer, with respect and kindness. The founder of Donegal Bay Publishing is a writer who grew tired of the cold, harsh, uninterested, and arrogant treatment that publishers have grown infamous for. For many writers, it is nearly impossible to break into the field of writing and getting published.

Donegal Bay Publishing's Authors Guild represents our new way of thinking - everybody gets a chance. Our Authors Guild gives us the ability to review large numbers of manuscripts efficiently. Joining the Guild is simple - submit a manuscript along with our Authors Guild Membership Application. A set number of fellow writers (currently five), also Guild members, will read your manuscript in its entirety - not a quick scan of the first few pages. Members will fill out our Manuscript Analysis Form, which has the reader rate the manuscript in various qualities - character development, dialogue, clarity, grammar, etc.

Donegal Bay Publishing personnel will then review the documents that meet our minimum requirements. Documents chosen to be published will then be published quickly, usually within 6 weeks. Documents that meet the minimum requirements but do not get chosen for publication will be published online under our Editor Picks Manuscripts pages. Documents that do not meet minimum requirements will also be published online in our Guild Member Manuscripts pages.
